So. Excited. About. This. Wedding.
I have known Dean for about 30 years and have been so excited and honored that him and Rachel chose me to capture their big day. Dean has always been a fantastic athlete – we grew up together in Waterville, playing hockey and baseball as teammates for many, many years. He now works as a lineman for CMP and his beautiful bride Rachel is an elementary teacher.
I knew I would know a lot of the attendees, but didn’t know that I would know nearly all 150 of the guests! Everywhere I looked there was another familiar face. Very, very cool.
Rain threatened to ruin the day, but all the guests collectively willed the rain away and it ended up being a beautiful afternoon. The weather did end up delaying the start of the ceremony by about 40 minutes, but nothing was going to stop these two from tying the knot! When the rain finally let up, the ceremony began and it was perfect for Rachel and Dean; short, sweet and right to the point.
The reception was wonderful with the (local) band playing deep into the night as the two families danced the night away.
Thank you Rachel and Dean for including me in your big day!
